“What I love about collaborating with Michele is the breadth of what she does with a panoply of songs and genres. She’s afraid of nothing and chooses to make each song her own!” said Dimin. “She infuses her impeccable jazz sensibilities and breathes her own groove into two songs that were originally written as a slow wrenching (heartbreak) ballads! Now they keep the set list moving and lighten the mood, while retaining all the heartfelt emotions I intended. Brava."

"I had the pleasure of inviting Michele and her band up to the studios LIVE on a few occasions and most recently before her debut at The Fringe Festival in Edinburgh. I have also featured some of Michele's recordings on my various radio programs that I present. We have now become firm friends and Michele has reciprocated her support for my various projects by inviting me to London to perform with her NOT Just Jazz Sextet at the infamous BULLS HEAD in Barnes. Smooth Jazz on a Sunday @ The Cambria, Brixton

"I had a feeling in my waters that it would be worth the schlepp after the wonky trolley of wikos- after all it was Michelle Osten singing. lovely late sunday lunch atmos at The Cambria just down from Loughborough junction . I can report that bits of the regeneration are being done by locals who love crafts and music. Michelle's extended family were there, convivial and fascinating bunch. I could do with a few more Sundays like this."
BEN HENDERSON
The Surrey Steampunk Convivial, The Old Moot House & Carshalton Environmental Fair
Carshalton, Surrey
From Ben Henderson, Event Organiser
"Michele Osten has remarkably laid back phrasing and delivery, plus a deep sense of swing, as well as possessing a warm, creamy voice to match any of the best vocalists on the local jazz scene right now.
With amazing control of her wonderfully rich, deep voice and smooth intonation, Michele performs a broad selection of trad jazz covers accompanied by able pianist David Roberts, and has performed to raise funds and awareness at charity events such as the last Friday of the month "Moot Market and Charity Gig", held at The Old Moot House public house in Kingston.
Her range of 1920's jazz covers has also entertained the revellers at more unusual events such as The Surrey Steampunk Convivial, held annually in New Malden.
Summer performances have included a prime spot on the Performing Arts Marquee at The Carshalton Environmental Fair, which 10,000 people visit every August Bank Holiday.
If you haven't heard Michele performing live yet, and you like your jazz laid back; deeply chilled; smoothly warm and utterly relaxed, you won't be disappointed. Her voice is like honey on hot buttered toast with black coffee to wash it down! Highly recommended!"

THE GREENWICH SCREWBALL
Up the Creek Comedy Club
Greenwich, London
From: Kasia Wojcicka & The Greenwich Screwball Team
"Michele performed during this year's The Greenwich Screwball, a live music event organised by me and my friends in aid of Age Exchange charity. Together with David Roberts on piano, they enchanted the audience with a beautifully selected old jazz repertoire, in keeping with our theme.
Michele is a brilliant performer with an amazing voice and a very personal touch. Her warmth and positive energy filled the room immediately. I would recommend Mo's Jazz Duo to anyone looking for high quality entertainment. Hopefully we can work together again in the future as it would be a real privilege! Thank you so much, Michele!"
